At Subaru of Georgetown, supporting pets is part of who we are. As proud partners of the Central Texas SPCA, our official Subaru Loves Pets nonprofit organization, we’ve spent the entire year working alongside them to uplift the dogs and cats in their care and to support the incredible mission they’ve carried forward for over 37 years.

From anniversary celebrations to charity runs, trivia nights, and Barktoberfest, 2025 has been a meaningful year of partnership, compassion, and community. Here’s a look back at some of the ways Subaru of Georgetown partnered with Central Texas SPCA throughout the year and helped champion adoptable pets across Central Texas.

April: 37th Anniversary Dinner

Earlier this year, we partnered with CTSPCA by supporting a major milestone — the Central Texas SPCA’s 37th Anniversary Dinner, where Subaru of Georgetown served as the Title Sponsor.

For nearly four decades, the Central Texas SPCA has rescued dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia across Central Texas. What makes this shelter so special is its dedication to personalized, force-free, one-on-one care for every rescued animal. Each pet receives the attention, medical support, and socialization they need to become healthy, confident, and fully ready for adoption.

Celebrating their 37 years of lifesaving work was an honor, and we were proud to stand with them as their Subaru Loves Pets partner.

April: Pup Crawl ATX

Also in April, Subaru of Georgetown helped bring pet lovers together by sponsoring the 2nd Annual Pup Crawl ATX, an event benefiting the Central Texas SPCA.

Pup Crawl ATX is a multi-dog park collaboration designed to give back to local rescue organizations while building community among Austin-area dog parents. Through vendor partnerships, dog-friendly activities, and a shared love for four-legged friends, the event helped raise awareness for CTSPCA and spotlight pets looking for forever homes.

October: Barktoberfest

October marks Subaru Loves Pets Month, and our largest celebration of the year took place at Barktoberfest, where Subaru of Georgetown served as the Presenting Sponsor.

Barktoberfest is one of Central Texas SPCA’s biggest annual events, featuring a 5K fun run, a one-mile walk, pet-friendly vendors, food, costume contests, and a silent auction. This event captures everything we love about Subaru Loves Pets: community involvement, joyful memories, and helping shelter pets find forever homes.

Being part of Barktoberfest during Subaru Loves Pets Month made this sponsorship even more meaningful, and it allowed us to strengthen our support for CTSPCA’s work during a time focused on celebrating adoptable pets, especially the “Underdogs” who need a little extra love.
