I went for an oil change and tire rotation plus a multipoint inspection yesterday for my 2025 Forester, and I couldn't be more pleased with Damian Alarcon and the entire service team! Coming to Subaru of Georgetown is always a positive experience. Joseph Martinez carefully explained everything that my car would require for this visit. He carefully explained all the details of the necessary repairs and the length of time to take care of the repairs. It was also very helpful for the technician working on my car to write down any additional repairs found necessary during this visit.

We purchased a new Forester from this dealership last year. Yesterday we brought it in for the 12,000 mile service and were very happy with the care and attention we received. The mechanic created a video for us explaining how to use a feature we weren’t using correctly, which was very helpful. Overall, our visit to the service department was an extremely positive one.

My last 2 sport utilities were a Subaru. I return to the Georgetown service department always because of the great customer service. I was there today 1/2/26 for an oil change and tire rotation. Mike brought it to my attention that I needed transmission fluid service. Everything was done in a timely manner and also got a car wash. A nice perk is the coffee bar and snacks.

OK, I'll start with the slight negative, finding a spot just to park my car so I could even park it so I could go into the dealership, took some doing, but later found out that they are aware of that issue and they have plans to build a parking garage and even redesign their dealership to give them more space. Subaru Georgetown refused to honor their deal of $500 for my car. They lost the paper work, I keep leaving voicemails and they refuse to take my calls. Worst service ever.
We purchased this 2020 crosstrek in 2022 from Georgetown Subaru. A few weeks ago the paint on the roof began chipping, then suddenly delaminated and completely rusted. I went in to see if they could do anything for us, and I’ve never been so mistreated. We had our first free oil change. We had an appointment and they had us in and out in 45 minutes. We were provided with a video by the technician as he checked everything under the car. There is one major reason why we continue to buy Subarus. It’s not the incredible safety rating or the awesome interior of our Ascent Touring. It’s not the AWD capability that adds peace of mind.

I've always enjoyed quality, courteous service at Subaru of Georgetown. Their staff is friendly and informative, and the service videos are a great addition to the verbal service breakdowns. They also have a free coffee bar which is a godsend for early appointments and/or emergencies that leave you frazzled. Recently towed my car in for service and had a great experience, my issue was found and corrected same day without an appointment.
Had a problem with heating in my Forester. Lauren in Service Dept confirmed this issue was related to a recall known issue with specific part. This made the repair a warranty issue. Also the video inspection revealed a serious issue with torn rubber bushings. Due to the type warranty I was offered on purchase of my vehicle the repair was done for the $100 deductible. The service department pointed out the fuel system needed attention so was pleased that once the needs were diagnosed the repairs were done quickly. Glad to recommend this dealership.

In at 0700, out by 0900. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors needed replacing. Nice coffee shop (free), and waiting area. As far as dealerships go, it is reasonable in its rates, though an old guy like me still thinks it's high.

This was my second Forester—having had the first for 11 years, and I knew the model and basic trim prior to arrival. In the 11 year interval there has been considerable improvement in the Foresters and Jade and Jason were very helpful in pointing out the changes.

The negotiations and purchase was all done via phone, text, and email as I reside in Dallas. The pictures shared of the vehicle were clear and detailed. BUYER BEWARE – Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Irresponsible
I’ve bought and sold many vehicles over the years and have never had such a frustrating and unprofessional experience. After signing all paperwork and taking delivery of my new Subaru, the dealership mailed me documents days later demanding I pay over $2,400 in additional taxes — a cost they failed to calculate or disclose properly during the deal.

Instead of making me wait till 2 o’clock for my appointment, they took me straight in, and I waited only 40 minutes before they told me my car was being washed and I was out of there in less than an hour.
