A Night of Mystery with a Lasting Impact

This August, Subaru of Georgetown was proud to support a night filled with mystery, laughter, and a little detective work—all in support of an organization helping keep our community connected to books and learning.

Subaru of Georgetown sponsored the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library’s 2026 Mystery Night Fundraiser at the $2,500 level. Held over two weekends, August 21–23 and August 28–30, Mystery Night invited guests to become part of an interactive murder mystery while raising funds to support the Round Rock Public Library.

While solving the evening’s mystery may have been the fun part, the impact behind the event was very real. This year’s fundraiser raised more than $22,000 to support library outreach programs, literacy resources, and the Round Rock Public Library’s future Bookmobile. The Bookmobile will help extend the Library’s reach beyond its walls, bringing books, resources, and learning opportunities directly into neighborhoods throughout the Round Rock community.

Subaru of Georgetown’s $2,500 sponsorship helped support this unique community fundraiser and the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library’s mission to enrich and expand the services available to local readers. By investing in organizations that make education and literacy more accessible, we can help create opportunities for people of all ages to discover, learn, and stay connected.

We were honored to play a part in an event that ultimately raised more than $22,000 for the Library and look forward to seeing the lasting impact those funds will have as the Friends continue bringing books, resources, and outreach into the Round Rock community.
